Welcome back to Our Grade 5 Blog!
Dear Grade 5 Students,
We know that it has been a very long time since Winter Vacation began. It is highly likely that over the break, you completely forgot about our new Literacy Blog.
Have no fear, this week we will remind you about the blog and ask you to re-test using it before we get into our homework routines moving forward for the rest of the year.
This week's task is fairly simple.
Write about your vacation.
Here are some questions to help you focus your writing:
-What did you do?
-Did you travel anywhere? If so, where?
-Did you spend time with family?
-What did you do?
-Did you have any special celebrations or meals?
-What was your favorite part of the holiday?
-What are you most looking forward to now that you're back at school?
Please remember blog format expectations. Start with a greeting (for example: Dear All,), write in complete sentences (minimum of 5), no texting SMS acronyms or codes, and end with a closing and sign off (like you'll see below).
We can not wait to hear all about your vacations.
