Testing, Testing, is This Thing On?

Welcome to Our Grade 5 Blog! 

Here on this Blog, we will work together to build Web 2.0 Digital literacy skills.  
This will be a shared blog between both 5A & 5B.  This way we can communicate,share our ideas, as well as learn and grow altogether.  

Learning how to interact with, post comments, replies, and reactions, an ever changing form of media are an important set of skills for 21st century international learners. 

This week you will do a test run of the blog.
Can you sign up for Blogger using your school email?  (Make your sign in your First Name) Can you post a comment?

Please write a comment to this Blog Post.  Write in Letter format.

1. Start with a greeting and a comma
"Dear Classmates,"  or "Hi Everyone on the Web,"

2. Write a comment.  Include your thoughts, feelings, reactions, comments, and/or questions about using this blog.

3. End your Comment with a sign off.  Include your name.
"Your friend, John"   or    "Have fun on the Web!  John"  

(We'll show you an example below of what a comment this week might look like.)

    I am so excited to use this new blog for our Literacy Homework. I can not wait to read all of your ideas and questions. Did you notice that whenever someone makes a comment, the whole page updates? It is always changing! Cool huh?
